If you are unable to reserve a spot, no worries because Bradley will be doing another seminar during the month of October.  He looks forward to meeting and sharing these wonderful methods with everyone.

About Bradley Williard
Breathwork professional and singer, Bradley Williard has developed his own method for helping singers, instrumentalists, high performing business professionals, and persons living with breathing disorders connect their bodies to their voices while establishing a healthy breathing coordination. Influenced greatly by the work of F. M. Alexander, Dr. Carl Stough, and Ilse Middendorf, Bradley has  studied with first generation teachers at the Middendorf Institute and with International Breath and Bodywork Practitioner, John Norris in Berlin.  He has also had to honor to study with Lynn Martin of Breathing Coordination and with Ann Rodiger of Balance Arts in New York.
Bradley Williard completed his doctoral course work in Voice at the University of Kentucky in 2010.  He has sung internationally and with many opera houses in the United States, including Cincinnati Opera, Chautauqua Opera, Sarasota Opera, Des Moines Opera, Kentucky Opera, along with many others. Bradley has also had the honor of guiding one of his students through the Metropolitan Opera National Council Semi-Finals round in New York.  He earned his Master of Music from the world renowned Manhattan School of Music.  During his tenure in New York, he studied voice with Ted Puffer, International Pedagogue David L. Jones, and Mark Schnaible.
Bradley Williard has currently relocated to his home state of North Carolina and is opening a breathwork practice in Asheville. He is very excited to bring these breathing methods to the southeastern region of the United States.  He will be giving a three week breathwork seminar at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in September.

The Mikado

January 9, 2013

The Mikado

Don’t miss Opera Creations’ 2013 Mainstage Production!!

The Mikado, first produced in 1885, is one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most famous and enduring operettas, in which the librettist and composer poke fun at the social customs and traditions of Great Britain (or for that matter any stodgy and slightly blood-thirsty nation). Audience members may recognize the songs “A Wandering Minstrel, I,” “The Flowers that Bloom in the Spring,” “Willow, Tit-Willow,” and many more. They are certain to recognize the posturing politician, the jealous older woman, and the young couple trying to behave properly (or else they will lose their heads).

Local favorites Karen Svites, Simone Vigilante, Aaron Schnurbusch, Jonathan Ross, and Roberto Flores hold starring roles in the cast, directed by Patricia Heuermann.  Newcomers to Opera Creations are David Fields, Bryant Belin, Heather Ferguson, and Ashley Renfro. Paul Templon and Vance Reese round out the musical leadership as chorus director and music director/accompanist, respectively.

Performances are open to the public with limited seating.

$28/adult and $15/students 18 and under
